Fresh and pure, with a lovely beam of black cherry and boysenberry compote flavors infused with a hint of Black Forest cake through the bramble-tinged finish.
Fresh and bright in feel, with a nice mix of kirsch and plum notes, lined with a red licorice hint and backed by red teak and hazelnut husk accents
A gentle style, with hints of praline and hazelnut mixed with lightly mulled peach and white cherry fruit. Reveals a wood spice twinge on the finish.
This has a spiced sweet-berry character with hints of cassis, chocolate, vanilla and bark. Full-bodied with firm tannins, yet it is textured and velvety with creamy sweetness and a deep dark-fruited finish. Unfiltered. Drink or hold.
This very dark ruby colored Late Bottled Vintage Port is a great value. It opens with an inviting tiramisu and rum raisin bouquet with a hints of toasted walnut. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and very easy to drink for Port. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and fig blend with notes of brown spice bread and cardamon. I also detected hints of black licorice, stony minerality, walnut, and a touch of rum. The finish is quite dry and is flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken
