Domaine Zind-Humbrecht’s Clos Hauserer lies at the foot of the Hengst Grand Cru Vineyard, on a gentle easterly slope. The subsoil is essentially made up of Oligocene conglomerates, marl and limestone. The vineyards is only planted exclusively to Riesling.
