These grapes were discovered in Aramon in Southern France, where the vineyards are mainly planted on granite slopes located around Lyon with East and South East exposures. Their roots are firmly anchored in granitic igneous rocks, giving this wine its great character. Grapes from specific plots are selected for their perfect ripeness.

Harvest Note
The 2020 vintage can be characterized as challenging, but very high quality. The winter was unusually warm with the Riviera being the warmest it’s been in 62 years. This changed in March when frost came in the last week of the month and got down to 19 degrees Fahrenheit. April and May were unusually wet which caused mildew. Luckily the Mistral wind quickly alleviated the issue. In contrast, the summer was perfect with no heat waves and cool nights that preserves the acidity of the grapes. August heated up which accelerated ripening. All in all, the 2020 vintage had lower yields, but should be an excellent vintage characterized by good tannins and acidity.
Tasting Note
A dry rosé, elegant, fresh and delicately fruity featuring floral aromas with bright citrus, white peach, and red berry flavors.
