Harvest Note
2015 was a fantastic year. Everything, beginning with Bud Break, started early, and with a solid Spring and Summer, most grapes were close to perfect condition for picking. Harvest started on September 8 and ended on the 13. Overall, the wines of 2015 are wonderful, with bright colors across the board with balance and harmony on the nose and palate.
Tasting Note
A brilliant and nice Ruby red in color. The nose is delicate, floral and fruity, with red fruits, wild flowers and noble wood fragrance. The wine is fine, subtle in the mouth. The tension is balanced by a delicate tannic structure, and the palate is full of fruits (raspberry, strawberry, blackberry) and spices (pepper, clove). The minerality dominates a long and elegant finale.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with lightly seasoned red meats, chicken, turkey, lamb and root vegetables.

About the Grape

Pinot Noir
In France, makes a silky, deceptively powerful wine of elegant, complex aromas and subtle, red fruit flavors, with earthy, floral, mushroom and mineral notes. In California, shows ripe, sweet characters.
