Le Montrachet is shared by the communes of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The vineyard terroir is very chalky and stony for perfect drainage but has the potential to overheat in the sunny, south–southeast exposure. The Chardonnay grapes are fermented and matured in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.

Harvest Note
This was a somewhat turbulent growing season. Lack of soil moisture and a poor fruit set diminished the harvest volumes.
Tasting Note
This complex, powerful, full-bodied wine has aromas and flavors of honey, toast, white flowers and white-fleshed fruit. It will develop favorably in the bottle for 15 to 20 years.
Food Pairing
Serve with haute cuisine dishes such as shellfish à la nage, fish and pastas in cream sauce and pâtés.
