The Reserva line is characterized by its elegance and complexity. In order to achieve these qualities, 30-to-50-year-old vines are managed to low yields. Then, the wine develops and gains complexity by further aging in carefully selected French oak barrels. Finally, balance is achieved after a 10-month bottle aging.

Harvest Note
The 2018 vintage was marked by higher volumes, but with optimal ripeness. The quality of the grapes was on par with previous very good-rated vintages. The summer started out warm but then cooled off during the harvest months of February, March and April. This, in addition to the low rainfall, gave rise to early ripening in the fruit, with beautiful natural acidity. The aromatic expression and smooth tannins show clearly that the 2018 vintage wines are excellent representations of the unique terroirs of Mendoza.
Tasting Note
This exclusive Cabernet Franc displays wild freshness with a hint of mint and spiced notes. Its complexity, bold structure and velvety finish convey the extreme conditions of the terroir.

About the Grape

Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc usually shows tart red cherry and wild currant aromas and flavors with an herbal, spicy character. In the Loire, esp. Chinon and Saumur-Champigny, this grape shows firm minerality.
