Luján de Cuyo was the first Appellation of Origin for Argentine wines. The D.O.C. classification signifies that all the grapes come from Lujan de Cuyo, and have had an aging process of at least one year in oak barrels and one year of bottle aging before release. The grapes for the D.O.C. come from Bodega Norton's Agrelo, Perdriel, and Lunlunta estate vineyards, all located within the boundaries of the Lujan de Cuyo wine growing region.

Harvest Note
The 2018 vintage was marked by higher volumes, but with optimal ripeness. The quality of the grapes was on par with previous very good-rated vintages. The summer started out warm but then cooled off during the harvest months of February, March and April. This, in addition to the low rainfall, gave rise to early ripening in the fruit, with beautiful natural acidity. The aromatic expression and smooth tannins show clearly that the 2018 vintage wines are excellent representations of the unique terroirs of Mendoza.
Tasting Note
Deep red in color with violet hues. Aromas feature ripe red fruits and black pepper spice with friendly tannins on the palate, and long, well-rounded structure and finish.
Food Pairing
Pair with rich flavors like braised meats, osso bucco, mushroom sauces, and sharp, nutty cheeses.
