Montes Classic Series Malbec originates from our Apalta and El Arcángel del Marchigüe vineyards in the Colchagua Valley. Deep red with a violet hue, this wine portrays aromas of black and red berries with notes of prunes and crème de cassis. Due to being stored in French oak for 10 months, it also has hints of chocolate, jam and vanilla intertwined with the fruit.

Tasting Note

Lively purplish-ruby red in color. Aromas of fresh strawberries and blackcurrants mix with floral and cherry liqueur notes. The palate is well balanced with rich acidity that turns juicy and makes this easy to drink. Medium body and nearly subtle tannins are present on the long and persistent finish.

Food Pairing

Pairs well with red meat, charcuteria, and cheeses.
