Grande Montagne is a unique parcel in Chassagne-Montrachet, at the top of the slope around 300 meters of elevation and with part of the climat classified as Premier Cru and part as Villages. Overlooking the highly regarded Premier Crus Cailleret, Virondot, and Romanée, this offers a bit of their glamour and drama while carving out a unique position as an approachable, vivacious white Burgundy for enjoyment in its youth.
